The Studio Ludum project harnessed the positive momentum within gaming and gaming culture to engage young people in finding their place in society.
Studio Ludum was a three-year innovation project and pilot study aimed at young individuals (ages 15–24) with an interest in gaming and gaming culture who were neither employed nor studying or who were in a grey area between studies and work. The purpose was to use their passion for gaming to motivate them to complete their education or take steps toward entering the job market.
