      Quick Facts

      Full project name

SeeMe: Children's Needs During Hospital Visits

      Duration

      January 2024 – December 2025

      Funding and collaboration

      Region Västra Götaland, Skaraborg Hospital

SeeMe investigates children's experiences during hospital visits, focusing on visits outside pediatric departments.

SeeMe consider children of various ages and include not only patients but also children accompanying a parent or visiting another patient.

The external analysis is primarily based on previous research in the field.

Furthermore, a needs analysis is conducted to describe both the general needs of children visiting the hospital and the specific situation at Skaraborg Hospital.

      More equitable care

By mapping the experiences of children and young people during their hospital stays, SeeMe will contribute to more equitable care regardless of age, for example, by reducing negative experiences of hospital environments.
