- Target group: University of Skövde official international partner agents with a valid agent agreement with the University of Skövde.
- Participation: Free of charge, but registration is required
- Transport:
- EAIE participants who have signed up to join the official campus experience in Skövde will travel from Gothenburg by the EAIE shuttle bus.
- Non-EAIE attendees must arrange their own transportation to and from Skövde (regular trains are available from Gothenburg). Please check the information below.
- Tracks: Please indicate your 1st and 2nd choice of track when registering. Each track has limited capacity.

Begin your visit with a traditional Swedish morning fika (refreshments) before being introduced to the University of Skövde, its internationalization, and its five Schools at ASSAR Industrial Innovation Arena. Gain insights into how we drive digital transformation and green transition technologies in close partnership with industry. Explore five transformative labs.

Here, you'll meet representatives from Skövde kommun (Skövde Municipality) who collaborate closely with the University of Skövde to ensure a supportive environment for international students and everyone who moves to our city and region.
They will introduce initiatives like the Skövde Career Program, designed to equip international professionals and master's students with tools for the Swedish job market and the Language and Culture Café, a weekly event promoting cultural exchange and language practice. This visit offers insight into the community support, tourist information, and opportunities available to students in Skövde.

Get an inside look at our English-taught programmes!
Some of our programme coordinators will present the latest updates, highlight unique features, and share future developments and study abroad possibilities.
You’ll also hear about the student experience outside the classroom, including an introduction to student accommodation options in Skövde. The session concludes with an open Q&A where you can ask questions and exchange ideas.

Join us for a relaxed and friendly dinner in central Skövde, where you will have the chance to continue conversations from the day, connect with staff of the International Office and fellow agents, and reflect on your visit. This informal gathering is a perfect opportunity to strengthen partnerships, share experiences, and enjoy good food in great company.
How to get to Skövde
The best way to get to Skövde is to fly to Stockholm or Gothenburg and take the train from there to Skövde. For more information about timetables and ticket reservations, please contact SJ (Swedish Rail) or the regional transportation company Västtrafik.

From Gothenburg
It takes one hour by high speed train or one and a half hours by intercity or regional train to get from Gothenburg to Skövde. If you arrive at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, there are buses to Gothenburg Central Station.
From Stockholm
It takes two hours by high-speed train or three and a half hours by intercity train to get from Stockholm to Skövde. If you arrive at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and intend to travel by train to Skövde, you will need to get from the airport to Stockholm Central Station. There are express trains (Arlanda Express) and bus services from the airport to Stockholm Central Station.
Accommodation information
The hotels listed below are within walking distance of the campus and the Central Station ("Resecentrum"). You are welcome to book rooms directly through the hotel's website. Please note that we do not arrange accommodation for participants, but we recommend booking early due to limited availability.
