Before accepting the assignment, you must consider whether there is any conflict of interest.
In the email requesting your participation as an expert, a list of applicants was attached to help you assess any potential conflicts.
According to Section 16 of the Swedish Administrative Procedure Act (2017:900) (riksdagen.se), a person acting on behalf of a public authority is disqualified (in a conflict of interest) if:
- they or a close relative are a party to the case or can be assumed to be affected by the decision to a significant extent
- they or a close relative have been a representative or agent for a party or someone else likely to be affected by the decision
- they have previously taken a stance in the matter in another authority's final decision
- or if there are any other special circumstances that could call their impartiality into question.

You will gain access to the current job description and application documents in ReachMee once the decision to appoint external experts has been made.
Login details for ReachMee will then be sent to you. You are to provide a separate assessment for each applicant as well as a joint ranking of the applicants. You may choose to write your report in Swedish or English. Please use the templates:

Compensation
Compensation is provided based on the University of Skövde’s remuneration levels for expert assignments.
For appointments as Associate Senior Lecturer: SEK 4,000 for the assignment, including one applicant. An additional SEK 1,000 is paid for each additional applicant.
For appointments as Senior Lecturer: SEK 5,000 for the assignment, including one applicant. An additional SEK 1,500 is paid for each additional applicant.
For appointments as Professor/Associate Professor: SEK 6,000 for the assignment, including one applicant. An additional SEK 2,000 is paid for each additional applicant.
