The main outcome from the OSSD project is a one year master programme comprising courses of industrial relevance in the field of open systems which is developed in order to address future challenges concerning sustainable digitalisation.
Understanding fundamental challenges for sustainable digitalisation is critical for continued competitiveness of companies and the broader society in Sweden. The OSSD project seeks to undertake a concerted effort for strengthening the competitiveness of Swedish companies and its broader society through development of industrially relevant learning content and education in the area of open systems. Specifically, the objective of the proposed project is to develop a one year masters study programme and associated course content on the topic of open systems for sustainable digitalisation in order to further strengthen the integration of research and education at University of Skövde and improve the supply of advanced expertise related to open systems in companies and other organisations. The OSSD project benefits from industry relevant research outcomes established in the SUDO project (2020-2024) which is funded by the Knowledge Foundation.
