      Published 2 December 2019

The University of Skövde's research has received two awards at the American Heart Scientific Sessions in Philadelphia. At their conference, research conducted by us together with colleagues in Nepal received two awards.

The International Early Career Investigator Award was won by Natalia Oli, who gained a PhD in 2018 with Alexandra Krettek as main supervisor and Gabriele Eiben as co-supervisor (both at the School of Health Sciences at the University of Skövde), and Abhinav Vaidya (Kathmandu Medical College).

The second prize to be awarded – the Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award – went to all the authors (Oli, Eiben, Vaidya and Krettek) of the highest ranking abstract from Nepal.

"It is great and prestigious to be awarded prizes for the School of Health Sciences's research", says Susanne Källervald, Head of the School of Health Sciences.
